At last it’s nice to see a brand giving something to existing customers, rather than only looking after the new business. This is just what O2 has done when it comes to the limited iPhone 4S stock at launch.
We’ve seen it with broadband services, asking them why your price has not decreased like for new customers and being told it’s because you’re still in a contract and the price will drop when the contract ends. The same goes for television services like SKY, tell them a friend got a box for a certain price and ask for the same deal, then be told they cannot comment on specific deals for different customers. What happened to looking are existing people and rewarding loyalty?
Big thumbs up to O2, they just stated the obvious that iPhone 4S stock will be limited and will “look after existing customers first”. So if you want an iPhone 4S and were not with O2 at least “one month before 4 October 2011”, you’re not getting the first batch of iPhone 4S devices from them.
Do you think this was a good move by O2?
