It is no secret that Apple users are extremely loyal for a number of reasons, but it’s good to see this loyalty shown with facts and figures. The image above shows how many people would consider a non-Apple device and what kind of discount they would want to make a switch from iOS. The image below shows the results of another Goldman Sachs survey that asked more than 1,000 people a simple question. This is related to the likelihood of them moving to an Apple iPad or iPhone for their next device.
The results show that iOS users would need massive discounts to move away from Apple, and 21% would never move at any discount. Having owned every generation of iPhone and being tied with Apple thanks to the amount of other products we have, and apps/movies, we could never move from Apple and just see new devices as an upgrade to something we are very happy with overall.
