Everyone and their dog knew that Sony held their PS4 event last night, and while we will not go into any of the game consoles details (as we are not about that) we will however look at something that will help to complement the PS4, and that is the upcoming PlayStation app. Okay, so we know that it is available for other platforms other than the iPhone, but we’re only interested in the iPhone.
Sony says that the PlayStation user will be able to expand their gaming experience by bringing it to another screen, we just wish we would be able to see it on the screen of a 5-inch iPhone later this year, but we know that will not happen.
What makes this app so great is how you no longer need a PS Vita as a second screen, because if you have an iPhone you will soon be able to view your maps while playing a game that requires it.
This is just one example of how the PS4 will be designed more for those who have a smartphone, which is a huge percentage of us. Thanks to Engadget for the image.
